Benefits Associated with Performance Programmers
ShipSound provides a wide range of products used to upgrade automotive, marine, and powersport audio systems, safety and security systems, and performance. ShipSound operates online and sells a variety of products, including performance programmers, through its website ShipSound.com.
Performance programmers allow for aftermarket engine computer modification, which unleashes the true potential of the vehicle. Performance programmers are plug-and-play devices that can be used at any time. The device only needs to be connected to the OBD-II port of the vehicle when needed, and when you require the vehicle to go back to its stock performance, the performance programmer can be unplugged. Some of the benefits of performance programmers include:
Increase in vehicle power - Performance programmers are designed to perform in the top performance setting to increase the vehicle’s power. The horsepower, torque, and power delivery of a vehicle can all be increased.
Detection and diagnosis of trouble codes - A performance programmer could be used to help you diagnose trouble codes and monitor additional parameters that the vehicle’s stock gauge does not usually include.
Boost in engine’s capabilities - A performance programmer helps to boost an engine’s capabilities, as it eliminates many restrictions on engine performance. The acceleration of the vehicle can increase since the device can help users inject more air into the engine, allowing for rapid acceleration. Performance programmers also can allow the vehicle’s speed to exceed the maximum level controlled by the electronic control unit chip.
Increases in fuel efficiency - A performance programmer can increase fuel efficiency, since it optimizes the vehicle’s settings to enhance its performance. Many users see an improvement of between one mile per gallon and five miles per gallon.

Frequently Asked Questions for SEMA Show Exhibitors
Founded more than 18 years ago, ShipSound sells audio components and electronics for a variety of vehicles though its online store, ShipSound.com. Dedicated to staying abreast of developments in the audio and technology industry, ShipSound participates in industry trade shows and conferences, such as the SEMA Show.
The Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) hosts the SEMA Show in Las Vegas every year. Following are several questions companies may ask when trying to exhibit at the show:
What registration do I need?
In addition to registering for a booth, companies also must register all exhibitor staff that will be at the booth during the show. This can be done by going to the SEMA Show’s registration page and clicking on “Register Your Booth Personnel” under the SEMA Exhibitor section. Companies that need a visa to enter the United States must request a visa letter after they register.
Do I have to have a booth design?
All exhibitors who reserve a booth at least 20-by-20-feet must send in a booth design before the event date. This design can be a hand drawing, digital photo, or rendering of the exhibit plan, and must include the dimensions of the booth. Multi-level booths also have to provide a copy of the engineering or architect drawing, certified by a structural engineer, to ensure the design is approved by the fire marshal. Multi-level booths cannot have any vehicles under covered areas and must have state-approved fire extinguishers available.
Does my booth have to have carpeting?
The SEMA Show requires exhibitors to carpet or cover the floor of their booth. The only exhibitors who do not have to adhere to this are those in Westgate Hotel, since the hotel’s exhibition area is already carpeted. SEMA also offers discounted materials for exhibitors who cover the floor of their booth with plastic covering, carpet, or padding, if the booth is at least 450 square feet.
